Welcome to Colourfast Editions
We are specialists in artwork photography and premium-quality giclée printing for artists and photographers throughout the U.K., and provide an individual and bespoke service for those seeking the very highest quality reproduction of their work. Employing the latest professional imaging and inkjet printing technology, we are able to reproduce artwork to the highest fidelity using archival pigmented inks on a range of museum-grade fine art heavyweight papers with an independently-rated lifespan in excess of 100 years.
Our studio is professionally equipped to enable photography of original artwork to the highest standard. Each file is individually processed and prepared for printing, with particular attention to precise colour matching to ensure the most accurate reproduction.
We accept print-ready digital files from photographers and digital artists in 8-bit and 16-bit depth, in all of the common graphics formats and in either RGB or CMYK colour space at no additional charge. For those of our customers wishing to soft proof their own files before committing to print, we are happy to provide ICC profiles for any of our media on request.
We additionally photograph sculptures and other 3-D artwork and artefacts for museums, galleries and private collections for cataloguing, record, sale and publication, either in our studio or at your own premises.
For the convenience of customers who may need their prints supplied ready for immediate sale or hanging, we offer access to a local independent mounting and framing service.
We now accept payment by credit or debit card in addition to bank transfer (BACS), cheque or cash.
Colourfast Editions are proud to have been associated with the photography and production of a new book by the master Tibetan calligrapher, Tashi Mannox. With additional photographs of the many Buddhas and temples of Asia by Robin Kyte-Coles, Sacred Scripts - A Meditative Journey Through Tibetan Calligraphy explores Tibetan written language as both an artform and as iconography for spiritual guidance. To mark the launch of Sacred Scripts, Tashi has released a new selection of limited edition prints featuring illustrations from the book, which may be found on his page in our Artists section and on his website at www.tashimannox.com
